This blog came about from my vacation to Africa. I hadn't visited my village in over 30 years. It was a wonderful experience to go back to my roots. Unfortunately in the 30 years since my last visit, nothing had changed, in fact things had gotten worse from what i remember. The infastructure had gotten worse, there was a lack of sanitary facilities for the villagers to bath and use toilets, there was a lack of clean water due to only one partialy functional bore hole. The farming situation was dire due to no fertilizer. Farming is the only means of making any kind of income for the villagers. The one and only school was in shambles and the health care facility was down right scary. Through this experience I felt compelled to help bring change and do whatever I could to help the people off which I share the same roots with.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. Some people find fulfillment in personal success and others find it in helping bring change to those who don't have the resources to help themselves. As part of this community we fall into the latar group. Together we can change lives of people you might never meet, and from this change we might help create tomorrows innovators, scientists, teachers and doctors for. this particular community.
Thank you so much for being part of this community. There are plenty of ways that you can become more involved. You can help with donations and help bring success to this project. Be part of this community of change by inviting family, friends, and associates to join in this exciting opportunity to. help bring change to one African village at a time.
